This oximeter measures the percentage of oxygen in haemoglobin proteins, called oxygen saturation. Digital Pulse Oximeter is a non-invasive method of measuring one's blood oxygen level as this count is a measure of how much oxygen your red blood cells are carrying. The lungs then distribute oxygen into the blood via haemoglobin proteins in red blood cells. These proteins provide oxygen to the rest of the body.
